it's off to the beach we go....
I'm glad I was able to send Holli my half of the birdie exchange. I received an adorable bumblebee from her that I will try and post a pic of when I get back. I sent her a watercolor of some birds that I don't won't to post because I don't want to ruin the surprise. But let me tell you, it is difficult to create for a fellow illustrator, especially when you really admire their work. I still am not sure about the drawing I sent, I just hope she likes it.
So off we go, to sand and waves and dial-up access. I am so addicted to the Internet and a few blogs it's not even funny. Check out Roz's take on the waiting game we play. I think it's great.
I'll try to survive without my daily addiction. I guess I can soothe myself with ocean breezes and massive amounts of junk food. :)

I also had the hardest time making something for Holli! I finally settled on a doodle that I couldn't quit smiling at. I figured if it made me smile, someone else had to smile too.
I love your birds on a wire, by the way. The feathers on their heads remind me of how I look in the mornings. Not a pretty picture! You have my sympathy on the no internet thing, too. I went two and a half weeks and was about to hurt someone!
Nice site you've got, I like your illustrations!
take care.
