Illustration Friday "Lost"
This a quickie suggested by the hubby. The Pud lost her balloon in our apartment (which has very high ceilings) and was quite upset until Daddy came home and knocked it within reach.

WOW!
I really like this. The colours are fabulous & I love the style of drawing.
This si the kind of illustration that immediately makes me want to pick it up.
I love the combination of line and watercolor. You should look at Gladys Nilsson's work, I think you will be inspired.

I came across your blog by chance and I think this just became my new favourite drawing.
very beautiful color!!
Haha Dad to the rescue :) Another good angle, your background sweeps the balloon even further with its direction! Guess Daddy can't catch that one :)
What a beautiful sky ... it's worth losing a balloon for :-)
I really love the colors and the watercolor effects! Great work!
i love the colours! a very batik-like effect. wonderful!
Not only are your colors always appealing but your characters also. I love their expressions.
What a face! There's just no getting that balloon back! I love the watery mix of colors...they have the feel of a blustery day. Your work is always such colorful eye candy:>
I remember my kids losing balloons and being devastated by it, when they were small. Great painting.
This is fantastic! I love the expression on her face.
Your drawings are so adorable, they kill me. That face just grabbed me by the heart!!
I love the colors. The sky. The little bird on the wire. And a lost balloon always touches some sort of emotional button in me, but I'm happy to see its headed toward the sunset... which is a happy ending in itself.
Hilarious! Ha ha :D
Jeez girl! You're building quite a following. :) Congrats on another fantastic illustration. Once again, you've managed to capture a very broad concept with very few lines. I am loving the sky-it's like melted rainbow sherbert! I LOVE the unique face on this girl. (She would make a nice addition to your shop, too.)
your illos are delightfully whimsical (even when the characters are pouting over lost balloons)! i'm so jealous over the vibrance of your watercolors. great job!
Your use of color is always so compelling.I love the faces... and particularly, that little bird peering down. Wow...
I love it, as always!
Wonderful illustration.
Great idea, and the sky looks beautiful. I love the mix of the colors.
