Vendor Fair
Yesterday's Fair was a great success. I sold 8 prints, hob-nobbed with other creative types and got to see what the general public thinks of my illustrations. That was pretty interesting. The first thing people remarked on were the colors, then they would chuckle and ask if I had really drawn all of them. I'll admit, it was cool to sit there and say, yeah I did this, ain't it cool? Even if they didn't buy anything it was neat to chit-chat with Joe and Mary Public.
I didn't sell any originals but that's okay, because in all honesty, it's hard to part with my babies. Not that I wouldn't sell them, I would just prefer to know that they're going to good homes. My friend Maralise did buy two originals which was awesome because I know she'll treat them right. Silly isn't it? I wonder if I'm in the minority for being so attached to my watercolor children.

nah...I have a hard time just sharing my "babies", I can't imagine parting with them! Yay for the festival, though. I'm glad you had fun and enjoyed your experience.
