Illustration Friday "Monster"

This is my drawing for this week's topic. I want to turn it into a portfolio piece which means I will have to take my time painting. So, I thought I would post thin just in case I missed the deadline.

i love this sketch! i love the expression on the monsters face, but also the little girl's demeanor...i'm not sure if she is walking in unsuspecting or if she is walking in snootily, looking prim and proper with her nose in the air. i love your work, so please post the painting when you finish!!! i would love to see it!

I like the hybrid monster..looks like he/she is a combination of alot of things. I also like the details in the background, esp those cabinets. Look forward to the color!

Excellent sketch - very imaginative monster, and I love the little girl's stance. Is there a little monster on the counter as well? You are right to take your time painting, even though it's sometimes tempting to try and post for IllFri. I'm sure the end result will be wonderful!

Yeah, well, what else ya' gonna do when the milk goes bad. Might as well not go to waste, eh? Besides, for all we know this is the family pet.
