Illustration Friday "Spring"
Here are a few paintings I did last year for my niece's nursery. My sil asked for four paintings with a garden bug theme.
I've also included the illustration I created for my baby shower for the Pud. I have gessoed a canvas and am going to try and paint it with acrylics for her room. The original is is colored pencil and pastel.
(you can see the finished piece here)

Really pretty illustrations.
The flying frog is just so whimsically wonderful! He's got a nice laid back style that draws you in.
These are so beautiful Courtney, perfect for a little girl's room. I like the frog hiding in the corner of the first one and of course The Pud's frog below .... you do love those froggies!!!!! Thanks for stopping by earlier.
Lovely colors! I laughed at your flying froggy because I created a winged bunny for a friend's shower last year! I guess putting wings on things is just too fun! Your line work seems very loose and flowing in these pieces.
Delightful illustration with beautifully applied colors. I like it.
Oh Courtney! I love the frog, too! Actually, I love all of them because I could still see your style in there.. (reminds me of American Idol when the judges say, "You made your song your own." :O) I always love stopping by your site!
Your paintings always bring a huge grin to my face.
The froggie is hilarious!
Lovely, vibrant colours and your froggy guy's expression is great!
