Back to Reality
We had a fantabulous time at the beach. From the sound and sight of the waves to one accidental dunking of the Pud to five accidental dunkings (and a panic attack ) of myself, we had a wonderful time. There is nothing like a week with the top item on the agenda being changing into swimsuits and trecking to the shore.
I feel relaxed and ready to work or in my case take care of a crazy monkey, try to finish this book I have wriiten, illustrate one written by a very talented friend , send out postcards, finish illos for friends, get ready for a show and put more things up at Etsy.
It's a wonderful life.

WOW!! I am so excited you are actually writing a book (!!!) and illustrating one, too! YahOoOoOoie!
P.S. I once ate at a Texas Burger in Jacksonville, and secretly videotaped all the customers in there and maybe you are in it. A friend lived across the street from a graveyard there in town. Another friend grew up in Rusk and she used to tell me, "I live in Rusk, Texas, population, one thousand, four hundred and thirteen." Do you know that song by Michelle Shocked, "Memories of East Texas"? I think you would really like it.
