Holiday?
Things were a little hectic this weekend. My sister flew in from Texas late Friday night and we drove down to southern Virginia for a wedding Saturday morning, came back Sunday morning, squeezed in some dc sightseeing and took her (and friend) to the airport at noon today after a bit more touring. It was great seeing her and meeting her very sweet friend, next time I hope there's less activity and more time to hang out.
Next Saturday I will be in a one day show called Metamorphosis. It's in a cool location and I'm excited to be part of such a talented group. You can see all the info here. Come by to check out the other artists and say Howdy.

Congratulations! I am so excited for you and wish I could be there. I really love this pic...does a "dummy" mean it's part of the book? I'm a novice here...
Oh well, I love the pattern and am excited to see what granny is looking at. And oh how I wish my hair could do that hanging in mid-air, bally thingy at the end. Sigh...
Are you alive and well after your crazy weekend? Great to see you....
In my haste to finish the post I forgot the coolest part, seeing Mara!!
a dummy is a book in sketch form, with two or three finished paintings to show the editor what your final project will look like. :)
