Studio Tour
I work in the basement of our townhome. It's (mostly) finished and quite large. Enough room for me to work, the Pud to play, a computer and if I remember to do it, laundry. My table is situated in the corner under a window overlooking our front yard. Here are a few pics of my area, when I get around to cleaning the rest, I'll post more.
you can see my latern collection, my painting from frizz, my five elephants hanging from an old friend and my art table.
this is a close-up of my lovely table. My mom bought it for me when I graduated. As you can see, it has been through a lot.
Here is a close-up of my latest work-in-progress with the local art critic.
Here is my inspiration board, I recently cleaned it, it's usually crammed with awesome work. (the photos are of my grandmother and little sister)
And now to continue the tour outside...
The dogwood tree has fully bloomed.
Isn't it lovely?
Now for an action, hooray for warm weather shot.
Have a great weekend. Hug your friends and kiss your family.

What a wonderful tour! That little 'Pud" can really jump! I love your work area, so clean , neat and disciplined. The window above your table is a must in any studio. The painting in progress looks exciting and the characters really have my attention. I hope we can see that one when it is finished. Also the Inspiration board is a wonderful idea.
It's nice to see the inner world of 5 Elephants Studio. Pretty soon you'll be given tours and charging admission.
That was fuuunn! I enjoyed the tour very much. Its always fun to peek inside other people's studios.
I luuurrrve seeing people's workspaces. Your lantern collection is great. How did you hook it all up so each one lights up?
I am sorry about the rejections. It must suck. I think you are doing the right thing concentrating on your work. It was so cool to see a painting in progress, I loved that picture too.
I really enjoyed this post Courtney! Nice studio, and really like the half-done illustration on your desk.
Love the tour. Honored that my painting hangs there.
