Status
I've ben working on my Hansel and Gretel piece for the Soup. Above is a little snippet. I think we are going to see some exceptional work come out of this, so be sure and check it out on Halloween. I'm also sketching monsters for Penelope's Monster Mash. I haven't fallen in love with anything yet.
I've really been enjoying Dan Santat's tales from his crazy four days in New York and Leezy's first installment from the Rutger's conference. I'll be going to the SCBWI Mid-Atlantic fall conference this Saturday, I'll try to have notes posted next week.

Oof, I'm glad you posted...I thought you fell off the face of the earth! hahaha....I LOVE this sneak peek and cannot wait to see the full piece. I agree with you about the work that'll be posted. I know I absolutely love my piece. It's amazing how much better my work is when I give myself plenty of time to accomplish it! hahaha.
Have fun at your conference. Thanks for Dan's link, I love his humor and his art. He sure is fun to read.
